Kane Sushi is one of those rare, unsuspecting gems that completely exceeds expectations. From the outside, you might not realize what you’re about to experience—but once inside, it’s something special. The space is small, beautiful, and intimate, with an ambiance that feels intentional and elevated without being pretentious. The sushi chef is incredibly talented, and it shows in every detail—especially their expertly prepared dry-aged fish, which adds an incredible depth of flavor you don’t find just anywhere. And the crispy rice? Absolutely unreal. Perfectly textured, deeply flavorful, and honestly unforgettable. Kane Sushi delivers a refined, thoughtful dining experience that feels both special and approachable. A must-visit for anyone who truly appreciates exceptional sushi.

If I could give more than five stars, I would. Don’t let the shopping center location fool you. What’s waiting inside is a true hidden gem. Cedar Park has some solid sushi spots, but Kane easily takes the top spot. The quality of the fish, the precision of the preparation, the attentive service, and the complete atmosphere are all exceptional. If you’re nearby, this should be your go-to sushi spot. And if you’re not, it’s absolutely worth the drive. Kane stands among the best sushi available in all of Central Texas.

Since moving here from Houston, I’ve been on the hunt for my go-to sushi spot, and I’m thrilled to have finally found this gem. The KT Special spicy tuna on crispy rice was absolutely delicious, and the nigiri was incredibly fresh, exactly what I’ve been missing in this area. 10/10!

The restaurant clearly aims to deliver a high-end experience through its ambience and attentive service, and in that regard it succeeds. Unfortunately, the food does not live up to the same standard. The shrimp tempura had a strong, lingering oil flavor, which was disappointing, as well-executed tempura should taste clean and light. The batter itself was thin and pleasantly crunchy, which was a positive. The tonkatsu was fried well and the meat was tender; however, the seasoning was overly salty and unbalanced. The sushi roll was quite average and did not stand out. While the servers were professional and courteous and the atmosphere was enjoyable, the overall dining experience falls short due to the food, which needs significant improvement to truly justify a high-end positioning.
