5th Element Brewing

I stopped by Fifth Element Brewery and was really impressed!. The quality of the beer was outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming and Mike made the experience even better with his friendly hospitality. I’ll definitely be back, come out and support this awesome local spot! 

I've been to 5th Element before - the first time at their Ribbon Cutting shortly after opening. Since then they have increased their beverage offerings as well as their charm. I had a great conversation with the owner, Mike, and they are truly a gem in our community. They have a delicious beer that they sell with proceeds being donated to ALS. The inside is small, however, they have a huge lot with tents, misters and lights. On top of this, they allow people to reserve the area at no extra charge. I love supporting local and am proud to have them in Leander! Thank you, Mike, for your hospitality and all you bring to the community!

Update - 5th Element raised tens of thousands of dollars from investors prior to opening. They stopped paying investors back and have lied (and I don't use that term lightly) at least twice about their intentions to work with an investor management platform. The platform claims that 5th Element's team is not reaching out to them and 5th Element has told us at least twice that they are working on this. All the while, 5th Element seems to be growing and doing amazing things in Leander. The problem is that they are leaving their investors behind. Hopefully this updated review will trigger them into action, although I doubt it as over a year of emails did nothing. To be clear, I am not on their investor list, but my partner is. So if someone replies with a "we don't see your name as an investor," that would be why. ;-) Original Review: 5th Element is going to be a great spot in a developing area of Old Town Leander. They have a great, unique beer selection that everyone seemed to be thoroughly enjoying. The team is awesome and they have a strong vision to be successful with their business. Definitely check it out when they fully open soon!
